College of Clinical Medicine

With the approval of the Ministry of Education, the College of Clinical Medicine was jointly founded as an independent medical school by Anhui Medical University and co-investors in 2003.

The College of Clinical Medicine is located at No. 15, Feicui Road of Hefei Economic and Technological Development Zone. Adjacent to Hefei Higher Education Mega Center, the city’s Administrative and Cultural Center, and local scenic spots such as the Swan Lake and Huiyuan Theme Park, the college is blessed with beautiful environment, good facilities and convenient transportation.

With a student population of over 4,800 students on campus, the college has established a good cooperative relationship with city-level or prefectural-level hospitals both in Anhui Province and in Beijing, Zhejiang, Shanghai, Fujian and Guangdong.

The college runs on a “teaching-oriented, students-centered” principle and strives to provide first-rate education service. Graduates from this college are well received and highly valued by their employers.

Based on the requirement of the society and a vision for the future, the college currently offers five undergraduate programs: Clinical Medicine, Pharmacy (Clinical Pharmacology), Pharmacy (pharmaceutical analysis), Public Administration (Health Service Administration) and Nursing. After finishing all the required courses and the internship training, students will be awarded a certificate of graduation by the college authority. Qualified candidates can also earn an academic degree conferred by the authorized college in accordance with relevant national regulations on academic degrees.

The College of Clinical Medicine was proudly granted an honorary title of “National Model for independent colleges” in 2010.
