Notice about Application of Innovation Training Project for International Students of Anhui Medical University

In order to cultivate innovative thinking and research capabilities of international students in Anhui Medical University, combined with "Implementation Plan of Students' Innovation and Entrepreneurship Training Program on National level in Anhui Medical University" ([2012] No. 53), it was decided to carry out innovative training program for international students in Anhui Medical University. The requirements for application are as follows.

Innovation Training Project for International Students of Anhui Medical University refers that undergraduate international students, no matter individual or team under the guidance of instructors, apply for innovative training projects funding, and independently complete innovative experiment project design, method selection, equipment and materials preparation, experiment implementation, data processing and analysis, summary report writing and so on.

Requirements for application

All international students, especially sophomore, junior and senior students, can apply for this program. Students from junior grades and teams are encouraged to apply. Applicants must be high academic achievers, with a certain sense of innovation and the spirit of exploration and research, have a strong thirst for knowledge and rigorous style of work, and have good moral qualities and team spirit.

Applicants need to fill out the "Application Form for Innovation Training Project for International Students of Anhui Medical University", and to design, complete and manage independently. Project selected should contain innovative ideas, and definite goal. It should be innovative and exploratory. Students should make feasibility analysis for research programs and technology used, and continuously adjust and optimize during the implementation process to ensure that the program can be completed before graduation.

The number of program leader is limited to one person. Program leader can only apply for no more than one program.

Applicants can ask School of International Education for help to choose one or two instructors with intermediate and above titles. Each instructor can guide three programs at most.

Each program is generally finished in one year. At the middle of implementation process,  an interim report is required to be submitted. Applicants should make feasibility analysis for research programs and technology used, and continuously adjust and optimize during the implementation process to ensure that the program can be completed before graduation.

The deadline of this year’s application is 25th September. Applicants should finish "Application Form for Innovation Training Project for International Students of Anhui Medical University" under the guidance of instructor and submit it to School of International Education.

Teaching Affairs Department and School of International Education will organize experts to evaluate the project and organize defence, and fininally decide the program, which will go through a week-long public show.
